Wax on Felt held its annual Battle of the Bands event on Friday, November 16 in Allston. Six bands played at the event, with the band Ripe, whose members are from Berkeley College of Music, winning first place.
The first place prize is a record deal that includes working with Wax on Felt’s music video department, art work, management and booking, promotion, social media, and a full length album. Second place winner Miranda Inzunza won the same deal but with a four track EP. Third place winner Royale won all but a record or EP.
